MISSAB FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
MISSAB Fellowship Program
MISSAB has taken a decisive step towards strengthening academic excellence by launching fellowship opportunities at dedicated Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS) centers across India.
Goal
The fellowship is designed for surgeons who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. The program provides structured exposure, enabling fellows to progress from basic principles to advanced MISS techniques under the guidance of experienced mentors.

- Official MISSAB Fellowship Certification upon successful completion.
Certification
The fellowship certificate is generated online through the MISSAB website but for photogenic memory it can be photographed at the next annual MISSABCON at the Milestone Celebration Stage.
A certificate for photograph can be handover by the mentor to the mentee as a physical milestone validating the mentee’s new competencies. This symbolic presentation recognizes the fellow’s transition from a trainee to a certified professional.
MISSAB Accredited Training Centres and Mentors
The original fellowship certificate is generated online for logistical purposes and to maintain uniformity across all MISSAB fellowship programs.
Eligibility Requirements
- Active MISSAB membership (mandatory).
- Demonstrated interest and commitment towards Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
- Maintenance of a fellowship logbook throughout the training.
- The completed logbook must be signed by the mentor/tutor and submitted to the MISSAB Secretariat at the end of the fellowship.
Fellowship Duration
Short-Term Fellowship: Minimum 3 weeks
Long-Term Fellowship: 3 months or longer
